This year’s Hajj package will be announced between January 25 and 30, said the State Minister for Religious Affairs. Faridul Haque Khan.

The state minister said this at a press conference organized at his residence on Bailey Road in the capital on Sunday evening regarding the bilateral Hajj agreement with Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia.

Faridul Haque said, we have a meeting with Biman (Biman Bangladesh Airlines), we will do that meeting. We are negotiating rates with the companies we have contracted with in Saudi Arabia. We said a rate, they said a rate, we are negotiating with them, so that what they want is not happening. If the rate is reduced even by 5 percent, it will be beneficial for Bangladesh. We will probably get those rates by 20-22 January.

The state minister said, after we talk with Biman on January 22, we hope to announce the Hajj package between January 25 and 30, inshallah.

The state minister said that they will try to keep the price of Hajj package as last year, but the cost may increase slightly if the price of Rial is increased.
