The fourth dose of corona vaccine has been started across the country including the capital. This program started simultaneously across the country on Tuesday (December 20) at 9 am.

The program was inaugurated by the Additional Director General of the Department of Health Professor Dr. Ahmedul Kabir at the Kurmitola General Hospital in Dhaka this morning.

It is known that only Pfizer will be vaccinated in the fourth dose campaign. This vaccination will be given at permanent vaccination centers across the country. Corona frontline fighters, over 60s suffering from various complex diseases and pregnant women will get this vaccine. The fourth dose can be taken four months after the third dose. Persons above 60 years of age who have already received the third dose will be vaccinated under this programme.

Among the frontliners are – brave freedom fighters, employees of the Ministry of Health and its affiliates and affiliated private healthcare organizations, all employees of public-private and autonomous organizations, law enforcement and military personnel, journalists, bank employees, national team players and others working on the frontline.
