Virangana Shilaguh, who removed the stigma of torture in Moulvibazar and turned around, won the district’s best victory award. In education category, Zaheda Sharmin Juli, in social service, Reena Rani Sarkar, in economic success, Jesmina Hossain Jui and in successful mother award Sharmin Jahan.

On Friday (December 9) at 5:00 p.m. in the District Srimangal Upazila Parishad Conference Hall, the guests presented the award to her on Begum Rokeya Day. Among them, Birangana Shilaguh and Reena Sarkar were selected as the best winners at the district level.

Upazila Parishad Chairman Bhanu Lal Roy spoke as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Srimangal Upazila Executive Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun. Upazila Women Vice Chairman Mitali Dutta and Upazila Women Affairs Officer Sayeda Akhtar also spoke at this time.
