Shubh Danottam Solid Cheebar Daan was held at Itchari Maitripur Bhavna Kendra in Khagrachari Sadar. Nikhil Kumar Chakma, chairman of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board, was present as the chief guest at the two-day event on October 27 and 28. He said, I feel very fortunate to be present in the presence of more than 150 great Bhikshusangha including 84 Maha Parmi Mahasthavir Vantes present in this auspicious ceremony today and among thousands of devotees.

Tishak Cheebar was present at the donation ceremony as an example of communal harmony, the commander of the nearby Bhuachhari army camp, Lt. Sheikh Abdullah Marzook. Warrant Officer Mohammad Based and other forces were with him.

The founder and principal of this Bhavana Kendra, founded in 2001 in Itchari area under Khagrachari Sadar Upazila, is Mr. Vimalananda Mahasthbir.
