Alhaj Delwar Hossain, President of Dinajpur District Zapa, nominated by the Jatiya Party in the Dinajpur Zilla Parishad elections, has been elected privately. Alhaj Delwar Hossain was elected by getting 1162 votes in pineapple symbol.

As Alhaj Delwar Hossain was elected, Jatiya Party central committee member Md. Solaiman Sami, the probable MP candidate for Dinajpur-5 seat in the forthcoming 12th National Assembly elections, congratulated the newly elected chairman with flowers.

He said, he expressed hope that the newly elected chairman would devote himself to the service of the people of Dinajpur with honesty and devotion in the future. At the same time, he congratulated the newly-elected general members and reserved women members in the Dinajpur Zilla Parishad elections.
