Six months have passed since the disappearance of the (SSC exam candidate) school girl in Sunamganj’s Shantiganj.

Riya Akhtar (pseudonym), an SSC candidate of Birgaon Emdadul Haque High School in Shantiganj Upazila of the district, left home to go to school on April 10 and did not return. That day at noon, when the other students returned home, Riya did not return, and her brother Al Miraj went to school. When he went there, he came to know that the school was closed. No one is at school. After searching the relative’s house, he made a simple (ZID) at the Shantiganj police station. Almost six months after GD have passed, but he has not been found.

Meanwhile, mother Sumirun Begum is now bedridden after losing her youngest daughter among the six children of an innocent family of Babangaon village in East Birgaon Union of Shantiganj. This mother’s condition is almost crazy. All day everyone who is in front of him is crying with tears and asking to find the girl and bring her back home.

Today Friday, Shantiganj Birgaon Emdadul Haque High School Headmaster Md. Aziz Mia said, the girl was calm. He regularly walked one and a half kilometers to school. He was not trying to skip school. Such an incident happened while preparing to appear for the SSC examination. The girl did not come to school that day even though she left home with school dress and books.

Local UP member Didarul Haque Didar said that everyone, including the chairman of the council, requested the police to find the girl and return her to her family. But today the police can’t find anything.

Al Miraj, the brother of the missing school girl, said, I am in regular contact with the police. But today the police is not able to find any trace of my missing sister’s sister.
