7 people died in the earthquake in China

Seven people have died after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck southwestern China. This information was revealed in a report by China’s state media CCTV on Monday (September 5).
The US Geological Survey said the earthquake struck 43 kilometers southeast of the city of Kangding in Sichuan province. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km.
The earthquake damaged houses in several cities in Sichuan province. Telecommunication has been disrupted in some areas. More than 500 rescue workers were deployed immediately after the earthquake. After the earthquake several after shocks were felt in different areas nearby.
