In the last 24 hours (from yesterday Wednesday 8 am to today Thursday 8 am) one more person died due to corona in the country. At the same time, 214 people have been diagnosed with corona.

According to the press release of the Department of Health on Friday afternoon, samples of 3,768 people were tested in the last 24 hours. The detection rate against the test is 5.68. The rate was 5.46 the previous day.

So far, 20 lakh 12 thousand 376 people have been diagnosed with corona in the country. 19 lakh 56 thousand 975 people have recovered from Corona. 29 thousand 326 people died. The last person who died in 24 hours was a resident of Dhaka division.

The first corona was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. Since then, the number of corona infections in the country has fluctuated several times. From the end of last year to the middle of last February, the micron type of corona has spread. Later the infection subsided. Infections started to rise again from June. Later it gradually decreased.
