Political organizations and individuals are distributing food items among the hungry tea workers in various tea gardens of Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar in solidarity with the demand of Tk 300 wage of the tea workers.

Comrade Sikandar Ali, a member of the Central Committee of the Workers Party, inaugurated the food aid distribution program of Bangladesh Workers Party at Deorachra Tea Garden on Saturday at 12:30 noon. Local UP member Sajoy Kishore Yadav delivered 400 packets of food items to the tea workers in the tea garden in Champara.

Meanwhile, food assistance was provided to several tea gardens including Mrittinga Tea Gardens from the personal funds of Manu-Dalai Valley President Dhana Bauri.
