Zaker ALi Shuva, Bureau Chief: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shri Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy and Director General of the Department of Archeology Md. Hannan Mia visited various activities under construction in the Indian economy at the premises of Rabindranath Tagore’s Kuthibari in Shilaidaha, Kumarkhali Upazila, Kushtia.
November 4, 2020: At around 11.00 a.m. on Friday, he supervised and observed various developmental activities under construction including open stage, cafeteria, rest house for guests at Kuthibari premises and later visited the tomb of Baul emperor Fakir Lalon Shah at Sheuria.
Md. Aslam Hossain, DC, Kushtia, Md. Sirajul Islam, Additional District Magistrate, Kushtia, Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police, Kushtia, Rajibul Islam Khan, Kumarkhali Upazila Executive Officer, Kumarkhali, Md. Ataur Rahman Ata, Upazila Parishad Chairman, Kushtia Sadar, Public Works Department and senior officials of the Department of Archeology were present.
At the end of the observation, he toured the house where Ravi Tagore’s memory was poisoned. He also signed the inspection book.
