Dulal Mia, Sunamganj: The central leaders of Bangladesh Krishak League voluntarily cut the paddy of Hafizur Rahman’s land in Haor Par of Sadar upazila of Sunamganj district. Deputy Commissioner, District and various Upazila Krishak League leaders and activists also participated in the paddy harvesting. Central Farmers League General Secretary Member of Parliament Adv. Umme Kulsum Smriti, Joint General Secretary, agriculturist Bishwanath Sarkar Bittu, Joint General Secretary and Member of Parliament for Sunamganj-Sylhet reserved seat Adv. Shamima Shahriar, Deputy Commissioner.

District Krishak League convener Abdul Qadir Shanti Mia, joint convener Shah Alam Sherul, member secretary Bindu Talukder, district Krishak League members Salma Akter Chowdhury, Khasru Wahid Chowdhury and Masuk Mia also participated in the paddy harvest.

At the end of the rice harvest, the president of the Bangladesh Krishak League agriculturist Sameer Chanda and general secretary MP Adv. Umme Kulsum Smriti told reporters, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is on the side of the farmers. The government builds dams every year to protect the boro crops in the haor. At the behest of the Prime Minister, every leader and activist of the Krishak League is ready to help.
