Two murders in Bhola well-planned: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the police attacked BNP’s program in Bhola to cover up the power, fuel and fertilizer crisis and dire financial crisis. Abdur Rahim was shot dead by the police. District Chhatra Dal president Noor Alam died after being seriously injured in the firing. Both murders were well planned. The firing of law enforcers at peaceful events is part of the sinister plan of the government.

He said these things in a statement on Wednesday. He made this statement expressing deep grief and condemning and protesting the killing of District Chhatra Dal President Nur Alam, who was seriously injured in police firing in Bhola, and died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka’s Comfort Hospital.

Mirza Fakhrul said that the government has seized state power and established terrible misrule through vote robbery. Organized to create a silent state and society by taking away the freedom of expression of people. Disoriented by people’s protests, the government has introduced a culture of fear in the entire country by taking drastic decisions like killing people. The government has to bear its responsibility.

He said that the government is taking revenge on the people by introducing misrule. Law and order forces are being ordered to indiscriminately attack BNP and take lives. Two strong leaders of BNP were killed in Bhola to stop the democratic movement. This incident shook the world consciousness.

BNP General Secretary said that the brave people of the country have thrown all the dictatorships in the past. They have come down on the streets to oust the current dictatorial government through intense agitation. This police killing will further consolidate people’s power and hasten the downfall of the government.
