Two killed in Dhaka-Chittagong highway accident

Two people were killed when a lorry hit a microbus on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Comilla’s Chandina upazila. Another person was injured in the incident.
The accident took place in Katherpul area of the upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ibrahim, son of Abdul Malek of Bhatgaon village under Manoharganj upazila and Touhidul Islam, son of Kamal Hossain of Laksam upazila.
It is learned that two persons died on the spot when a Dhaka-Chittagong-bound lorry hit a microbus from behind. After receiving the news of the incident, the police recovered two bodies.
One person injured in the incident has been sent to Comilla Medical College Hospital, he said.
