Md.Ibrahim Babu,Nachol (Chapainawabganj): Faruk (38), a young entrepreneur from Laxmipur in Nejampur union of Nachol upazila of Chapainawabganj district, has set up a cattle farm on about 3 bighas of land by planting grass for cattle feed on 20 bighas of land. The farm is rearing 45 cows, 42 bulls, 25 calves, 11 sheep and 1000 Campbell ducks of Shahiwal and Jersey breeds. The dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur is in the eyes of Tarun Farooq, the son of Abdus Sattar of Laxmipur village. In the hope of moving forward with indomitable morale, the Upazila Livestock Officer, in consultation with the officials of various government and private banks, is taking care of the cows, bulls, calves and ducks. On the advice of the Animal Resources Office, 6 employees are giving balanced food and taking as much as possible. Dreamer Farooq sat in his firm and said that he did not want to work, he wanted to give a job.
He wants to get rid of unemployment in Nachol upazila by getting a job in his firm. With the patronage of public-private banks and the government, he will be able to become an ideal and young entrepreneur in Nachole. Mongla has been doing business in the seaport as a CNF agent for a long time. Messrs. Fahmida Agro and Dairy Farm has been set up on 2 bighas of land bought by him at Laxmipur in Nachol upazila of Barind region. He is keeping 1000 Campbell ducks on the farm next to his house. The dreamer Farooq hopes that with the encouragement and inspiration of the government, many like him will be able to contribute to the country’s economy by building animal husbandry farms. In this regard, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabiha Sultana said, the government as well as non-government young entrepreneurs should come forward. Young entrepreneur Farooq needs to be collaborated with both government and non-government. Dr. Sarmin Sultana, Upazila Assistant Livestock Officer, said that she hopes that the vision-2041 of the Prime Minister’s dream will be successful if government and non-government support is provided to young entrepreneurs like Farooq.
