Tigers praised in Australian media, Cotton

Sports Desk :

Hosts Bangladesh have beaten Australia in all four of the five-match T20 series. In the last match, the Tigers were ashamed of the lowest run in Ajit’s T20 format. The Australian media has criticized their boards and cricketers on the one hand, and the Tigers on the other.

The Daily Sydney Morning Herald wrote, ‘Australia’s preparation is in question ahead of the T20 World Cup in the final defeat against Bangladesh. The Australian batting line-up is proving to be very weak in the low scoring series with one defeat after another.

The newspaper further wrote, ‘This victory will show the excellence of Bangladesh for a long time. The vortex will highlight Australia’s incompetence against the ball.

The headline of ABC News was ‘Lowest score of Australian T20 cricket team against Bangladesh in Dhaka’.

ABC writes, ‘Australia lost with their lowest score in T20. Proving such a fall to Bangladesh, it was another of their downfall tours. Tonight (Monday) was not a good night for Australian cricket fans.

News.com described Australia’s 4-1 series defeat against the Tigers and the lowest run-scoring record in the last match as “ugly”. The newspaper wrote, ‘Bangladesh tour seemed a threat to Ajid. So they decided not to visit Dhaka. They feared that if the opponents did well, they would lose their place in the T20 World Cup. This last preparation series before the T20 World Cup is an ugly pattern for Ajit.
