In the last 24 hours, 54 people have died across the country due to the deadly coronavirus. They have 35 males and 19 females. Two of them died at home. Everyone else died at the hospital. With this, the total number of deaths in the country stood at 13,399. At the same time, the corona of 3,883 people has been identified. The total number of identities stood at eight lakh 44 thousand 970 people.

According to the notification, 21,373 samples have been collected and 20,882 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 62 lakh 88 thousand 539 samples have been tested. The detection rate is 18.59 percent compared to the sample test. In contrast to the total test, the detection rate is 13.44 percent.
Besides, 1,955 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. So far, a total of 7 lakh 78 thousand 421 people have recovered.
Of the 54 people killed in the last 24 hours, 15 died in Chittagong division, 12 in Dhaka, 12 in Rajshahi, 8 in Khulna, 4 in Barisal, two in Sylhet and one in Mymensingh.
The age-based analysis showed that 26 of those who died in the last 24 hours were over 60 years old. There are also 15 people aged 51 to 60, 7 people aged 41 to 50, 5 people aged 31 to 40 and 1 person aged 21 to 30.
