Srimangal (Moulvibazar) Correspondent: The body of an unidentified woman rescued by the police at Srimangal in Moulvibazar has been identified. Police were able to apprehend the killer within a few hours on the basis of a sack containing the body.
Detained killer said. Masud Miah (62) is the son of late Ekhlach Miah of Ramnagar village in Amidron union.
During police interrogation, Masood Mia said he killed his wife over a family quarrel. The body was taken to Udnachara in Sindurkhan Union for disappearance and dumped on the bridge. According to police, the deceased was identified as Dolly Akhter, 25, daughter of late Felu Mandal of Badhanpur in Jinaidah district. Srimangal Sindurkhan Road Jorapul area husband said.
