The Foreign Minister sought the help of the European Union (EU) to repatriate millions of Rohingyas who were displaced from Myanmar and took refuge in Bangladesh in the face of torture. The ministry said, the foreign minister. Momen met with Joseph Borel on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in the United States. During the meeting, he highlighted the situation of the Rohingya and sought the help of the European Union in resolving the crisis.
In addition, to continue the duty-free facilities of Bangladeshi products in the European Union market until 2029. Momen also thanked Joseph Borel.
At the meeting, both agreed that Bangladesh and the European Union would work together to address the risks of climate change.
