Saiful Islam, Rangpur: Former BCL leader Rezaul Islam Milon has been elected as the nominated “Director” of The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry. After being elected, he said Director Kartik would be instrumental in the development of Rangpur, including the establishment of EPZs to create employment for the unemployed youth and the establishment of heavy industries in Rangpur district. Since the outbreak of Carpkarona virus-19, he has been distributing food among the destitute, helpless poor people.
Rangpur Corona Isolation is working for the development of the hospital and increase the facilities for the patients. According to family sources, former BCL leader Md. Rezaul Islam Milon, father: deceased Nurul Islam (B.Sc.), mother: Mosha: Raushan Ara Begum (housewife), village: Shahipara, post: Shalban, police station: Kotwali, district: Rangpur. I was born in an aristocratic Muslim family in Shahipara of Rangpur district. He is the eldest of 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He is currently the father of 3 children (2 daughters and 1 son).
He started his education from Shalban Primary School. He studied in Rangpur High School and passed SSC in 1973. From school life he was involved in the politics of Bangladesh Chhatra League. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1969.
In addition to politics, he started his own business in 1983 in need of livelihood. In a short span of time he became known as a successful businessman in Rangpur city and three times in a row he was elected as General Secretary of Rangpur Zilla Parishad Super Market Shop Owners Association and served honestly as elected General Secretary of Rangpur District Shop Owners Association. Later, when Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared Rangpur district as a division, she also held the post of “General Secretary” of the Metropolitan Shop Owners Association. He was nominated as the “Organizational Secretary” of the Bangladesh Shop Owners Association.
I am relentlessly working towards the implementation of the Vision 2021 and 2041 of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. In order to inform the people about all kinds of development activities of the present government, Bangladesh Awami League is happily performing its duties as the “Vice-President” of the Rangpur Metropolitan Branch. He is currently the three-time elected president, including the founding president of the Rangpur Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and has been elected “nominated” director of The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
According to the Rangpur Tax Office, Mrs. Rezaul Islam Milon’s wife Mrs. Gulnahar Islam Poppy has been selected as the best income tax payer in the Rangpur City Corporation area in the current financial year 2020-2021. Mr. Md. Rezaul Islam Milon has been elected as the Director of FBCCI from various quarters.
