The waves of the sea are coming and crashing on the land of the beach. The protected forest is being damaged due to the removal of sand from the beach by the waves. There has been intermittent moderate rainfall in the coastal areas since last Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Office, southwest monsoon winds have spread in Bangladesh.
A light pressure has been created in the North West Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas. The effect is that the sea is rough. The district meteorological office recorded 42.1 mm of rainfall from 6 am on Friday to 6 am on Saturday. This has disrupted public life. Low-income working people have suffered the most. Waterlogging has occurred in many low lying areas. Meanwhile, the meteorological office has asked the river port to display the No. 1 naval warning signal for fear of temporary gusts of 45-60 kmph on the coast.
