The government has set a minimum age of 25 years for vaccinating against coronavirus. As a result, ordinary citizens will be able to get the corona vaccine only if they are at least 25 years of age or older. The registration protection app for tickers has also been changed by setting new age limits.
It has been seen that the age limit for registration of corona vaccine has been raised to 25 years and above. Bangladeshis aged 25 years and above can get the corona vaccine.
Abul Bashar Khurshid Alam, Director General of the Department of Health, last reduced the age limit for vaccination registration to 30 on July 19. Earlier, on July 5, the age limit for vaccination registration was reduced to 35.
Mass vaccination activities started on February 7 in the country. The next day, the government set a 40-year age limit for registration for the corona vaccine. The directive was given by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a cabinet meeting at the Secretariat that afternoon. Earlier, 55-year-olds were allowed to register for the vaccine.
