Tajkir-uz-Zaman is leaving Chapainawabganj

Abdullah Al Mamun, Chapainawabganj: AKM Tajkir-uz-Zaman is a self-confident, determined member of the 27th batch of the determined administration cadre. According to district administration sources, he will join the finance ministry within the next week. He joined Chapainawabganj District Administration as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) on 22 October 2018. After joining, he started working to enrich the district administration on the advice of the then deputy commissioner AZM Nurul Haque.

Chapainawabganj district has undertaken a number of developmental activities in recent times which have brightened the image of the district at home and abroad. Among these activities are various information technology based initiatives for the development of the district’s cash crop mango, district branding, liberation war based dayalika festival, flag rally, release of album titled “Agniswakshar” with freedom fighters, various publications on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. He has also been working tirelessly to highlight Chapainawabganj, another potential district for tourism, and other notable establishments in the district.

With his exceptional initiative and design, Mujib has celebrated the centenary and aroused a huge response across the country. In front of the Deputy Commissioner, innumerable people from the district and outside the district used to come to see the houses and lighting made of captivating plastic bottles. After the evening, the visitors took a picture of the lighting of the bottle house on their respective Facebook pages.

A number of significant changes have taken place in this district at the hands of this officer. A flag rally with about twenty thousand national flags has been held in this district to highlight the spirit of the liberation war. A week-long Liberation War based Dayalika festival with the students of 100 selected educational institutions of the District, creative writing workshop and distribution of posters during the Liberation War on National Day or sewing of national memorials by sewing with small entrepreneurs of this district are also worth mentioning. Ruhul Amin, a heroic freedom fighter and former commander, said, “He is a gentle, polite and progressive thinker. I am overwhelmed to see his love for the liberation war and the heroic freedom fighters. ”

About 28 publications have been published in the last two years through this district administration. He has handled the complex task of collecting, editing and printing information in these rich publications with one hand. “Agniswakshar” has been published with handwriting, quotes, introductions and pictures of all the freedom fighters living in this district; The first volume of “Amar Vidyalaya”, a huge collection of about 650 pages, has been published with the information of 705 primary schools of the district, data, pictures, works of students and teachers.

Writing about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s father – “Amar Pita Sheikh Mujib”, Writing about mother – “Bangamata Fazilatunnesa”, Writing about younger brother Russell – “choto Russell Sona”, Writing about Sheikh Rehana’s father – “Amar Pita” published and distributed in different schools Done. The question and answer book for the students – “I know Bangabandhu” has received a huge response. Bookmarks have also been printed to encourage reading historical speeches, patriotic poems and books on March 7. Dr. Mazharul Islam Toru, Head Professor, Department of Bangla, Nawabganj Government College, said, “I have never seen so many publications by the district administration during my teaching career. Of course, Mr. Tajkir deserves thanks for this.”

On behalf of the district administration, the district SDG has played a strong role in formulating and implementing the three-year APA, Integrity, Innovation Action Plan. He has been awarded by the Departmental Innovation Team & Received the Integrity Award in 2020.

Chapainawabganj Deputy Commissioner Md. Manjurul Hafeez said, “Mr. Tajkir-uz-Zaman has been working in this district for a long time. His contribution to the Chapainawabganj district administration office is undeniable. He is a skilled officer, he is a very happy person in his personal life, he has received a lot from the blessings of his parents. His experience is huge. He will devote himself to the welfare of the people in the end with the essence of experience.”

It is learned that he joined Narail DC office and worked as Assistant Commissioner (Land), Land Acquisition Officer, Munshiganj, A2I Project, Upazila Nirbahi Officer at Mahadevpur, Naogaon. He has received awards like Kaizen Roll Model Award, Innovation Award, Best Local Government Organization etc. for bringing changes in the land office. He graduated and post-graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Masters in Economics with JDS Scholarship from Yamaguchi University, Japan. This year Kawansai has been nominated for a PhD in Advanced Management at Gakquin University, Osaka, under the same scholarship. His research articles have already been published in international journals. TQM is constantly working on the development of citizen services.
