The mother’s dream was that the daughter would go to the groom’s house by helicopter. Put everyone on the shelf! Tashmiya Akhter Surbhi of Bhargaon village of Paniumda union of Nabiganj upazila rode to the groom’s house to fulfill his mother’s dream.
Last Thursday (July 4) around 2.30 pm, the helicopter landed at the football field of Bhargaon village of Paniumda Union of Nabiganj Upazila. At that time, there was a crowd of enthusiastic people around the football field.

At that time, Surbhi, daughter of Aklach Mia, a Portuguese resident of Bhargaon village, boarded a helicopter and went to the Kushiara Convention Hall in Sylhet, the venue of the wedding. The helicopter carrying the bride landed at the helipad there. Later, the wedding ceremony was held.
After the ceremony, groom Abdul Ahad took the bride to his home by helicopter. UK expatriate groom Abdul Ahad is the son of UK expatriate Abdul Wahid of Tajpur village of Osmaninagar upazila in Sylhet.
It is known that Abdul Wahid, a resident of the UK, of Tajpur village of Osmaninagar upazila has 2 sons and 3 daughters. The family has come to Bangladesh for the wedding of Abdul Ahad, the eldest son of the family.
If Surbhi, the only daughter of Aklach Mia, a Portuguese resident of Bhargaon village of Nabiganj upazila, is chosen as the bride, the day and date are fixed with the consent of both the families. On July 13, the marriage ceremony was completed at the bride’s house. The wedding ceremony was completed at the Kushiara Convention Hall in Sylhet on Thursday (July 4).
Surbhi’s mother Sultana Begum said, Surbhi is my only daughter. It was a long time dream of the girl to go to her husband’s house by helicopter. The wedding will be very grand. Allah fulfilled that wish. I want everyone to pray for Surabhi. May Allah keep our daughter and son-in-law happy.
In this regard, Surbhi’s cousin, Ali Amjad, a lecturer at Dinarpur College, said that Surbhi was sent by helicopter to the groom’s house in view of the wishes of the bride’s mother. My sister Surabhi’s marriage was completed very beautifully.
