Dewan Sobuj, Ishwardi (Pabna): The ‘Sheikh Hasina Free Oxygen and Medical Services’ program has been launched in Ishwardi and Atgharia of Pabna as the number of corona patients has increased at an alarming rate and there is no space in the hospital.
Sakibur Rahman Sharif Konak, son of late former land minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif, a member of the Awami League’s information and research sub-committee, has launched the ‘Sheikh Hasina Free Oxygen and Medical Services’ program.
In this regard, Kanak Sharif said, “I have stood by the people of Ishwardi and Atghariya in carrying out service activities for the victims of Corona in the implementation of the directives of the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina.” Through the volunteers of Chhatra League and Juba League, activities are being started to provide oxygen to the patients at their homes as well as to provide medical services.
It is not possible for the neglected, deprived and low-income people affected by corona to bear the medical expenses including oxygen. So, like my late father, I am trying to save my life by standing by the helpless people in this great danger.
