Staff Reporter, Sylhet :

The rally was held on Sunday (August 22) at 4 pm in front of the central Shaheed Minar in Sylhet.

At the same time, the speakers said, ‘Educational institutions in the country have been closed for the last one and a half years due to corona. In this way the life of the students has come to a standstill. Many students are dropping out. However, so far the government has no roadmap to open educational institutions. The government could not bring the students under the vaccine. In this situation, we demand immediate reopening of the educational institution by vaccinating the students in alternative conditions. ‘

They also said, “Even though the educational institutions are closed, the students are being charged salaries and fees.” Which is irrational and inhumane. We strongly condemn it. It must be stopped immediately. ‘

The speakers called for immediate vaccination of all citizens of the country, claiming that the government has failed miserably in preventing corona, ensuring the health of the people of the country and in collecting, producing and providing vaccines.
