Python snake rescued from Yusubpur in Srimangal

M Muslim Chowdhury, Srimangal (Moulvibazar): A python has been recovered from Srimangal Yusufpur area of Moulvibazar. The snake was rescued by the Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation in Srimangal.

On Monday (November 30) afternoon, after receiving information from Mosaddek Ali of Yusufpur area, Swapan Dev Sajal, director of the Wildlife Services Foundation, rescued the python and brought it to the Wildlife Services Foundation.

Sajal Dev said the snake came out of the Lauyachhara forest in search of food and moved to the locality. Such incidents happen almost all the time. In Lauyachhara, various animals come out of the forest for food.

Many animals die ruthlessly at the hands of unconscious people. Again, in the eyes of a conscious person, the Wildlife Service Foundation actually gives the news. As soon as we got the news, we rescued the animals and brought them back.

Some animals were also rescued injured. Later, they were brought to the Wildlife Service Foundation and released again with medical services.
