Poisonous blue peat viper snake released in Lauyachhara

The peat viper snake, which was found sick in the throat while trying to catch a cut cat in the bungalow of Srimangal tea garden, has been released in Lauyachhara.

At 1pm on Tuesday, FG Subrata Sarkar of the Forest Department, Tajul Uslam and Swapan Dev, director of the Wildlife Services Foundation, released Sajal at Lauyachhara National Park. On Monday, Swapan Dev, director of the Wildlife Services Foundation, rescued the snake after receiving information that the pit viper snake had fallen ill while holding a cut cat from the bungalow of the assistant manager of the rented tea garden.
