PM distributes 77,500 metric tonnes of rice at 155 puja mandals on the occasion of Durga Puja at Srimangal

On the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja organized by Srimangal Upazila Disaster Management and Relief Department, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has distributed cash and 500 kg of rice in favor of all puja mandals in the upazila.
The rice and cash were distributed at noon on Tuesday (October 5) at the Zila Parishad Auditorium on Bhanugachha Road.
It was present as the chief guest, the heroic freedom fighter Alhaj Vice President. Md. Abdus Shahid MP.
Special guests on the occasion were Acting Chairman of Upazila Parishad Mitali Dutta, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Asaduzzaman, Joint General Secretary of Moulvibazar District Branch of Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad Jahar Tarafdar, Senior Co-President of Srimangal Upazila Branch Ajay Kumar Dev, General Secretary Sushil Sheel and other pujas of the upazila. Committee leaders were present.
