Sylhet Bureau: Various restrictions announced by the government are going on all over the country to prevent corona infection. Meanwhile, the government is giving utmost importance to the observance of hygiene rules. In such a reality, the well-known Panchbhai and Pansi restaurants in Sylhet have been fined Tk 60,000 by a mobile court run by the district administration for violating the health rules.
On Monday (May 31) from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, RAB-9 and the district administration conducted a joint operation of the mobile court.
Jahangir Alam. A team of RAB-9 led by senior ASP Obine took part in the operation. Executive Magistrate said. Jahangir Alam said that according to the latest coronary restrictions, people are allowed to sit and eat in restaurants, but there are instructions to strictly observe social distance. But Pansi-Panchbhai restaurant was crowded and serving food to the people. The two restaurants were fined Rs 60,000 and their owners were fined for violating the hygiene rules. The fined money has been deposited in the state treasury, said RAB-9’s (media officer) senior ASP Obine.
