Kishoreganj Correspondent: A mystery has arisen over the death of a young man who was involved in a power outage at the Mother and Child Welfare Center in Kishoreganj. Kamrul Hasan, son of Yusuf Ali of Barkhalerpar village in Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila, died last (May 30) afternoon while fetching mangoes from a mango tree at the Mother and Child Welfare Center.
According to the relevant sources, Kamrul Hasan has been working for a long time as an associate volunteer in the regular weekly and long-term camps of Kishoreganj Mother and Child Welfare Center. On the day of the incident, under the pressure of an employee of the Mother and Child Welfare Center, Kamrul Hasan climbed a mango tree and fell down with an electric wire. After a long time, the staff of the Mother and Child Center rescued him and took him to Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital. The doctor on duty declared him dead. Kamrul Hasan’s body was handed over to his relatives without an autopsy and his body was hurriedly buried.
The family of the deceased Kamrul Hasan complained that he would not have died if he had not been forcibly picked up from the tree. This has created a mystery between the family of the deceased and the locals.
Dr. Md. Saidul Hasan, Medical Officer (Clinic) of the Mother and Child Welfare Center, said, “I got the news on my mobile phone and immediately came to the spot and found the staff of my office present. I immediately sent him to the hospital.
