Srimangal (Moulvibazar) Correspondent: The district administration has quarantined 70 workers who came to Moulvibazar from Chapainawabganj in search of work. On Monday afternoon, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan, the officials of the district administration confirmed the home quarantine of the 70 workers.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Mir Nahid Ahsan said, 70 workers from Chapainawabganj come to Barahat and Chandnighat areas of the district headquarters in search of work. Upon receiving the news, all of them were assured of 14 days home quarantine with food items as per the government health rules. Later in the afternoon, the district administration officials delivered the food items in the vehicle of the district administration. At that time, all of them were instructed to stay at home for 14 days in compliance with quarantine.
The food items provided by the district administration to the 70 quarantine workers include 8 kg of rice, 2 kg of potatoes, 1 kg of lentils, 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of soybean oil and 1 bar of soap. Moulvibazar deputy commissioner said that these essential food items were sent to home quarantine for 14 days.
