Planning Minister MA Mannan said, “Bangladesh is our Bangladesh with mosques, temples and churches.” At the time, he said, no one in the world had yet discovered an alternative to elections in politics. The BNP will not come to the polls, they will elect their people anonymously, their leaders are electing tactically. Don’t choose, they may say. But they cannot prevent elections. A tide of development is flowing across the country. There is no place in Bangladesh where development is not happening. The tide of development is flowing everywhere.
This was stated by Planning Minister Abdul Mannan while addressing as the chief guest at the ground breaking ceremony of beautification work across Manundi in Moulvibazar Municipality on Friday (November 19).
The work, which cost about Tk 11 crore, includes walkways, landscaping, planting of rare flowers and fruit trees, and beautification of roads.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was presided over by the Mayor of the Municipality Md. Fazlur Rahman and was attended as a special guest. Mohammad Zakaria. Planning Minister MA Mannan came to Moulvibazar to take part in the Manipuri Maharasalila, one of the traditional festivals of the small ethnographic community of greater Sylhet.
Planning Minister MA Mannan also said that Bangladesh is a combination of mosques, temples and churches. Bangladesh of Hindu-Buddhist-Christian, Manipuri, Saotal, Khasia-Garo all.
