Millions of people are being deceived and even risked their health by buying these products with low quality ingredients. And there is no (BSTI) approval for marketing these products. However, fingerprinted products are being used on products (BSTI) approved monograms. Moreover, even though the term is supposed to expire in three months after the production of these produced semai, the term of these is being mentioned as 6 months.
Dimla Upazila Executive Officer Jayshree Rani Roy on Tuesday afternoon fined Dimlab Tripti Bakery and Mamata Food Products Company Tk 50,000 in a mobile court raid. And the product made with low content and without the approval (BSTI) monogram about 1 lakh worth of product is thrown in the water of the surrounding canal and destroyed. At that time, the owner of the company, the fraudster Mohsin and his associates escaped strategically.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jayshree Rani Roy conducted the operation with the help of Dimla police. Rangpur Divisional (BSTI) Field Officer Delwar Hossain and Nautara Union Parishad Chairman Saiful Islam Lelin were also present. After the raid on Dimlab Tripti Bakery and Mamta Food Products Company, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jayshree Rani Roy entered the alley of Oli in Nautara Bazar and promoted various harmful aspects of Corona virus and various ways to get rid of it. He also distributed masks among the elderly without masks.
