Aminul Islam, Sakhipur (Tangail): The five-day land service week at Sakhipur Upazila Land Office and six Union Land Offices in Tangail has come to an end with the aim of facilitating citizen services and resolving problems quickly by building digital land management with the theme “Land Services Digital, Changing Days”.
From Sunday (June 6) to Thursday (June 10), Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ha-Meem Tabassum Prabha sat on a stall in front of the Upazila Land Office to provide land services to the people.
According to land office sources, data entry activities are underway across the country with the aim of paying online based land development tax.
All land owners of the upazila have been requested to submit their national identity card, mobile number, one copy of passport size photograph, photocopy / record of Namjari Khatian, latest land development tax payment / copy of rent filing to the land office of their respective unions.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Ha-Meem Tabassum Prabha told my news that service stalls were opened in six union land offices of the upazila on the occasion of service week in an effort to facilitate services. The service recipients are sitting there and receiving all the services related to land.
He further said that if land owners register online, they will get all the information related to land at home and will be able to pay land development tax at home. This online service is being provided to make it easily available. If we are aware, we can protect ourselves from various forms of harassment. Digital land service will be a special milestone in building a digital Bangladesh announced by the government.
