Kumarkhali’s livestock officer received the Purity Award

Staff Reporter: Kumarkhali Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md Nure Alam Siddiqui has been selected as the best office head among 6 upazilas of Kushtia district on the occasion of National Purification 2021-2022. At the same time, as a reward for excellence, money equivalent to one month’s salary, an honorary crest and a certificate were handed over to him. The award was presented at the Practice Award distribution ceremony at the meeting room of the District Livestock Office on Tuesday (August 2) at noon. 1 Upazila Livestock Officer of the Department of Fisheries and Livestock was awarded this award at the district level.

Dr. Sukhendu Shekhar Gayen, Director of Khulna Divisional Livestock Department, was the chief guest at the event under the chairmanship of Kushtia District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman. In recognition of his work, he was given a national award.

Dr. Md. Nure Alam Siddiqui was born on 21 November 1985 in a noble Muslim family in Doail village of Shalmara union of Gobindganj upazila of Gaibandha district. In his working life he joined Taraganj, Rangpur Upazila as Veterinary Surgeon on 03 June 2012 through 30th BCS. After serving in various upazilas, he was promoted as Upazila Livestock Officer and joined Kumarkhali on May 12, 2019.

Reacting to being selected as the best office head at the upazila level and receiving the award on the occasion of National Purification-2021-2022 Dr. Md. Nure Alam Siddiqui said, this award was achieved as a result of teamwork with everyone at the upazila level. This achievement will make me more responsible and responsible towards work in future. In the coming days, I want to devote myself more to serve the country and people with my highest talent, labor and ability.

It is to be noted that the Ministry of Government under the title “Confirmation to Build Sonar Bangla: National Purification Strategy”, Purity Award policy was formulated in 2017 and gazetted for the purpose of giving awards to selected officials/employees of departments or other state institutions. According to the explanation of this award in the gazette, every year the recipients of the Government Purity Award will receive a certificate and an amount equal to one month’s basic salary as an award.

There are 18 qualifications to be selected for the award. These are: having professional knowledge and skills; Setting standards of honesty in the workplace, Reliability and conscientiousness, discipline, Good behavior with colleagues, Good behavior with the customer, Adhering to the rules of the organization, Coordination and leadership skills, Proficiency in the use of information technology, Occupational health and environmental safety awareness, tendency to take vacations, Capacity for innovative practices, Activities in the implementation of annual performance agreements, use of social media, Interest in self-motivated disclosure, presentation skills, Interest in using e-files and assisting in grievance redressal.
