Joining Rajbari Newcomer Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman

Kazi Tutul: MM Shakiluzzaman joined as the new police superintendent of Rajbari on Tuesday (December 29) afternoon.
When the new Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman reached the office of the Superintendent of Police in Rajbari on Tuesday afternoon, Additional Superintendent of Police Md Salahuddin greeted him warmly.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sheikh Mohammad Sharif-uz-Zaman, DIO One Saidur Rahman, Rajbari Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Swapan Kumar Majumder, Pangsha Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, Baliakandi Police Station Officer-in-Charge Tariquzzaman, Goalanda Officer-in-charge Abdullah Al Taybir, Officer-in-Charge of Kalukhali Police Station Md. Masudar Rahman and others.
Past Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman PPM formally handed over the charge to new Superintendent of Police MM Shakiluzzaman.
MM Shakiluzzaman, 24th BCS cadre, told Daily Morning Glory that he joined Bangladesh Police in 2005 as Assistant Superintendent of Police. His first place of work was Barisal district. He then served in the RAB and in peacekeeping missions in Sudan in 2009 and in Ivory Coast in 2016.
MM Shakiluzzaman, a father of one son and one daughter, was promoted to Superintendent of Police in 2018. He then joined as Deputy Commissioner of Police of Khulna metropolice . His house is in Dumki of Patuakhali district. My expectation to the people of Rajbari is that everyone will abide by the law. People from all walks of life will cooperate with us to maintain law and order in the country.
It may be mentioned that on December 9, a notification was issued by the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs to transfer 25 police superintendents from all over the country. In that order, the outgoing Superintendent of Police of Rajbari Mizanur Rahman PPM was transferred as the Superintendent of Police of the Office of the Additional Inspector General of Police, CID Dhaka.
