Abdullah Al Mamun, Chapainawabganj: In Chapainawabganj, checks have been distributed among the sick and distressed families from the optional fund of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. At 11 am on Tuesday, the Chapainawabganj district Awami League office distributed checks amounting to Tk 25,000 each to 11 people suffering from various diseases in different areas of the district.
Ferdousi Islam Jesse (MP), a deserving daughter of Dr. AAM Mesbahul Haque Bachchu, one of the organizers of the great liberation war, distributed checks as the chief guest on the occasion.
The chief guest said Bangladesh is moving forward. There is no way to stop the development of the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, is working relentlessly for the betterment of the country and the nation. The Prime Minister is a symbol of humanity. The government is working on a multi-pronged action plan for the development of rural areas and the advancement of backward people. The Awami League has made many sacrifices for the country. That is why Awami League sincerely wants development of the country. No party other than the Awami League will be able to maintain the continuity of this development.
District Awami League co-president Bir Muktijoddha Alhaj Ruhul Amin was present in the presidency, district Awami League co-president Dr. Golam Rabbani, organizing secretary Mesbahul Haque Saker Jyoti, Organizing Secretary Mesbahul Haque Saker Jyoti, Health and Population Affairs Secretary and BMA District Branch President Dr. Durrul Huda, Nachol Upazila A-League General Secretary and Upazila Parishad Chairman Abdul Quader, agriculturist Dr. Saiful Islam, Sadar Upazila A-League Joint Secretary Mesbahul Jaker and others were present. Moniruzzaman Suite and Saleh were also in overall cooperation.
