Sheikh Momin, Goalanda (Rajbari):Distribution of police masks among the passengers at Daulatdia Ghat Goaland Ghat police are distributing masks among the people returning home in Nadir Town on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha.
These masks and hand sanitizers are distributed among the passengers who do not have face masks except Paturia Thek in Manikganj.
Goalanda Ghat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Abdullah Al Tayabir distributed the masks and hand sanitizers in Daulatdia Launchghat and Ferryghat areas on Monday afternoon at the initiative of Rajbari District Police.
Passengers fleeing from different parts of the country received such services from the police that they were going home in the throes of the epidemic in Corona. There was not much suffering in the Ferrighat area. I heard that this time the police activity in the ghat area was good. In fact, I found it in the ghat area. Police are carrying masks and hand sanitizers among the passengers.
Passengers say they are instructing on the proper use of the mask. Such actions of the police in Coronaca are truly commendable. Moreover, we will be able to go home without suffering in the ghat area, God willing.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Tayabir, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Goalanda Ghat Police Station, said that awareness was being created on the issue of wearing masks for passengers returning home on Eid under the direction of Rajbari Police Superintendent MM Shakiluzzaman Sir. Max and hand sanitizers are being distributed on behalf of the district police to those who do not have masks.
He further said that the program which started today will continue till July 23 (Friday) of Eid. Moreover, the pressure of the people returning home at the ferry wharf has increased a little since Monday afternoon.
