Free distribution of fertilizers and seeds among farmers in Shibpur

Dalim Khan, Shibpur (Narsingdi): Free fertilizers and seeds have been distributed among small and marginal farmers in Shibpur, Narsingdi to increase planting and production through the use of Ropa Aman / Ufshi varieties in the 2021-2022 financial year. The fertilizer and seeds were distributed at the Upazila Agriculture Training Center on Wednesday (June 29) morning by the Department of Upazila Administration and Agricultural Extension.Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Zinnia Jinnah presided over the function and Upazila Parishad Chairman Md Harunur Rashid Khan was present as the chief guest. Under the direction of Upazila Agriculture Officer Mohammad Bin Sadeq, 1140 small and marginal farmers of the upazila were distributed 20 kg of fertilizer and 5 kg of high yielding paddy seeds per person. Other officials of the Upazila Agriculture Office were present at the time.
