Abdullah Al Mamun: For the first time, 27 officials of the administration and 4 government institutions
received the ‘Bangabandhu Public Administration Medal’. Among them, four
people from Chapainawabganj district received this medal. They won the public
administration medal for the initiative titled “Chapainawabganj model for dealing
with emergencies and crises through social connection based on partnership” in the
team category for dealing with disasters and crises.
The recipients of the medal are – Former Deputy Commissioner of
Chapainawabganj District (currently Deputy Commissioner of Narayanganj) Md.
Manjurul Hafiz, Chapainawabganj Superintendent of Police AHM Abdur Rakib,
former Civil Surgeon of Chapainawabganj (currently Deputy Director and
Superintendent of 250-bed Naogaon General Hospital) Dr. Md. Zahid Nazrul
Chowdhury, Chapainawabganj Additional District Commissioner (General) Md.
Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque MP handed over the
medals to these four people from Chapainawabganj on behalf of the Prime
Minister in a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Public Administration at the
Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital on Saturday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the program virtually through video
conference from Ganobhaban. After receiving the medal, four officers dedicated
this medal to the people of Chapainawabganj district.
