Farmer training on seed production techniques and conservation of Bari Mug-6

Dewan Sabuj, Ishwardi: Bangladesh Pulses Research Center and Regional Agricultural Research Center, BARI, Ishwardi, Pabna organized a special farmer training on “Bari Mug-6 Seed Production Techniques and Preservation” on Monday, May 24. 35 farmers of Baraigram upazila were present in the training.
Dr. was present as the chief guest at the event. Debashish Sarkar, Director, Pulses Research Center and Regional Agricultural Research Center, BARI, Ishwardi, Pabna, were present as special guests.

Md. Sayedur Rahman, Chief Scientific Officer, Pulses Research Center and Regional Agricultural Research Center, BARI, Ishwardi, Pabna. Dr. presided over. F. M. Abdur Rauf, Chief Scientific Officer, Pulses Research Center and Regional Agricultural Research Center, BARI, Ishwardi, Pabna. The program was conducted by Debashish Sarkar, Scientific Officer, Pulses Research Center, BARI, Ishwardi, Pabna.

Under this project, a block exhibition of 30 bighas of mugs was presented in the farmers’ field in Baraigram upazila. In this training, various experiments are shown in the research field of the Pulses Research Center and the farmers are given hands-on training on how to produce and preserve good seeds.
