Distribution of saplings in Srimangal on the initiative of vocalist Emon Dev Chowdhury

With the slogan “Plant trees in the rainy season to increase the greenery of the country”, Chalaman has distributed and planted fruit tree saplings in the monsoon season.
Emon Kalyan Dev Chowdhury is the proprietor of Soma Enterprise, a prominent vocalist of Srimangal.

On Wednesday afternoon, he distributed 50 betel tree saplings and 5 coconut saplings among the people on Srimangal Habiganj Road. Later, he distributed 50 more betel saplings and planted coconut saplings in Sabujbagh residential area. Biman Dev, assistant teacher of Srimangal BTRI High School, Bikul Chakraborty, Moulvibazar district representative of Ekushey Television, journalist Bangakabi Lutfur Rahman and Al Ibrahim were also present. Besides, Emon Kalyan Dev Chowdhury is a child of a Banedi family of Srimangal.

Apart from environment and forestry, donations have been made by their families to Srimangal Chandranath Government Primary School, Srimangal Government Girls School (former name Deenmoyi Girls School), Srimangal Biraimpur Government Primary School (former name Babla Dev Primary School). In addition, they have numerous donations to various social and religious organizations.
