M Muslim Chowdhury, Srimangal (Moulvibazar): The BGB Srimangal Battalion (48 BGB) has distributed relief materials to 813 unemployed, destitute and helpless families in the area adjacent to the Srimangal Battalion headquarters and the BOP adjacent to the border BOP in Lockdown with the help of Vidyananda Foundation.
On Sunday (May 16), the Vidyananda Foundation distributed relief items to 133 unemployed, destitute and helpless families in Muslimbagh, Rupspur, Varaura and Kalighat areas around the Srimangal Battalion headquarters at the initiative of Srimangal Battalion (46 BGB).
Earlier, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday and Thursday, Moulvibazar district Kulaura, Kamalganj and Srimangal upazila bordering Muraichhara, Alinagar, Dattagram, Lalarachak, Sharifpur, Amtali, Chatlapur, Bagichhara, Debalchhara, Kanthalkandi, Kurma, Mokhbir, Mokhbirid , Kalighat and Julekha BOP adjoining area 680 more unemployed, destitute and helpless families distributed relief materials.
Maintaining social distance between each other, Srimangal Battalion (46 BGB) has distributed 05 kg of rice, 02 kg of flour, 01 kg of gram, 02 kg of pulses and 01 kg of salt to each family. Relief materials were handed over by Srimangal Sector Commander BPM, G, Colonel Tuhin Mohammad Masud and Srimangal Battalion (46 BGB) Commander Lt Col Mahabubul Islam and BOP commanders.
