The district consumer rights protection department supervised and raided the daily commodity market in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar. At that time, three companies were fined Tk 15,000 for various irregularities.
Tuesday (September 28) from morning to noon, the district assistant director of consumer protection. Market surveillance and operations were conducted under the leadership of Al-Amin and in collaboration with Kulaura police.
Keeping him to sell expired food products and cosmetics at this time, even if he is not supposed to sell them. Suma Foods in Dakshin Bazar was fined Tk 5,000, Abhaya Pharmacy on Post Office Road Tk 5,000 and Bengal Food on Moulvibazar Road Tk 5,000 for various irregularities including sale of the drug.
Assistant Director. Al-Amin said the three companies were fined Tk 15,000 and recovered. Instructions are given to sell daily necessities including fish meat at proper weight and fair price. Supervision activities of the Department of Consumer Protection will continue to ensure the availability of daily necessities at a fair price.
