A Dandash snake has been recovered from a shop rack in Dalubari area of Srimangal. After the rescue, the snake was released again in Lauyachhara National Park.
A shopkeeper from Dulubari area opened his shop around 12 noon on Friday and saw the snake on the shop rack. Later, the shopkeeper informed the Forest Department and Wildlife Service Foundation to rescue the snake. After receiving the news, Swapan Dev Sajal, director of Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation in Srimangal, rescued the snake unharmed. After the rescue, FG Subrata Sarkar of Forest Department, Tajul Islam, Rishi Barua and Swapan Dev, director of Wildlife Services Foundation, released the snake in Lauyachhara National Park.
