Md. Nesar Ahammed: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, OC Md. Imam Hasan congratulated all the officers and employees of CMP Pahartali Police Station and peace-loving people of all walks of life.
OC Imam Hasan said Eid-ul-Fitr is one of the two major religious festivals for Muslims. The other is Eid-ul-Azha. Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Islamic countries like Bangladesh. But the whole world is terrified today because of the coronavirus.
Therefore, Muslims will not be able to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha like themselves.
So even if the situation is bad, Eid Mubarak to everyone. You spend time with your family during Eid. Even in this difficult time, everyone can celebrate Eid with a smile on their face. Celebrate the joy of Eid from home.
Now the time is much different. Everyone in the world is dealing with the coronavirus situation. I pray that by the grace of Allah the situation will return to normal soon. Stay healthy, everyone stays well in this expectation and
OC Imam Hasan gave a brief discussion on sacrificial animal waste, and addressed the residents of Pahartali police station area.
What is the duty of all of us in the disposal of sacrificial animal waste?
Eid-ul-Azha is the second largest religious festival of Muslims. Every able-bodied Muslim sacrifices animals on this day in order to gain the pleasure of Allah. Mismanagement in the disposal of large numbers of animal wastes can pose a serious threat to the environment.
The joy of Eid can spread the disease germs.
A little awareness can protect us from harmful effects on unhealthy environment and public health.
Failure to ensure proper management of sacrificial animal waste can be a major threat to the environment.
Only a little care and awareness in the society can protect us from the harmful effects of unhealthy environment and public health.
Animal blood, slaughtered waste and liquid waste cannot be kept in the open after sacrifice. These should be buried in the hole and buried. Because the blood and intestines spread the stench within a few hours. And if it is not possible to remove the blood from the soil, then it should be washed with water. The waste of the sacrifice should be kept in polythene so that the transport of dirt can be done with Dru. At work, one should try to be self-reliant without being dependent on others.
In areas where it is not possible or late for vehicles to reach, waste should be packed in polythene bags and kept at designated places for dumping garbage. It is better to give solid wastes including animal bones and polythene. Intestines or such wastes should not be dumped in the sewers in any way. If there is people’s awareness as well as everyone’s initiative, germs and bad smell will not be able to spread in the air.
May Allah Almighty keep everyone safe and healthy.
Eid-ul-Azha wishes to all, Eid Mubarak
