Bloody body of youth recovered in Rupganj

Police have recovered the bloody body of a young man named Sharif from inside a mosque in Chowdhurypara area of ​​Rupganj upazila on Friday morning. The deceased was identified as Abdul Halim of Birabo Khalpar area of ​​Kanchan municipality in Sharif upazila.

According to the police, the miscreants hacked to death a young man named Sharif (20) inside the Chowdhurypara Jame Mosque. The killings took place at any time of the day or night on Thursday (September 17).

Police and locals said that while going for Fajr prayers on Friday morning, the worshipers saw a bloody body inside the Chowdhurypara Jame Mosque. After informing the police station, the police recovered the body from the spot at around 8.30 am.

Rupganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) AFM Sayed said the body of a young man named Sharif was recovered from a mosque in Kanchan. The body has been sent to Narayanganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy. The culprits will be brought under the law very soon after investigation.
