Australia has announced a 29-member preliminary squad for the Bangladesh tour. Last month, Australia announced a 23-member squad for the limited-overs series against the Caribbean.
With these two series in mind, they have formed a long preliminary team. Initially 23 people were called in the team. But the selectors have called up six more as they are worried about the IPL and the biological protection zone. Now the initial team has 29 members.
Dan Christian, Ben McDermott, Aston Turner, Cameron Green, Wes Agar and Nathan Ellis have been named in the new squad.
Christian played for the last national team in 2017. Since making his national team debut in 2010, Christian has played 19 ODIs and 16 T20I matches for the country.
The Aussies will play 5 T20 matches in Bangladesh tour. However, the schedule has not been fixed yet. However, Australia will start a five-match T20 series and a three-match ODI series against the West Indies next month. The Aussies will leave the country for the West Indies later this month.
