Juwel Islam, Taraganj (Rangpur): After a year and a half, students will return to their respective institutions after the government announced the opening of all primary, secondary and higher secondary level educational institutions from Sunday (September 12). The decision to reopen the school-college was rekindled with joy as the educational institutions were closed due to the epidemic corona virus. After a long wait, relief has returned among teachers, students and parents. The work of washing, wiping and cleaning in the educational institutions is already nearing completion.
Taraganj Upazila Secondary Assistant Education Officer. Shahinur Rahman said there are a total of 32 educational institutions in the upazila including high schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutions. On the other hand, Upazila Primary Education Assistant Officer Muhammad Sirajul Islam said, Out of the total 109 educational institutions under me, there are 75 government primary schools and 34 kindergartens. The environment has been created to open all the institutions except the flood-hit schools.
They said that we have already created a conducive environment for teaching to open the institution.It can be seen on the spot that all the educational institutions have been opened under the supervision of teachers in the remote areas of 5 unions of the upazila and the chairs, tables and benches of the institutions including the abandoned classrooms have already been washed. In addition, the playground has been cleaned with weeds in the yard of the educational institution. As soon as night falls, all the educational institutions will resound with the footsteps of teachers and students. Therefore, thinking about the future of the students, the concerned authorities have demanded regular teaching in all the classes of all the educational institutions as per the previous rules.
