When the corona infection occurred in the country in March last year, it was not possible to reopen all types of educational institutions.
As a result, the government could not take last year’s HSC exam. HSC results are given on the basis of JSC and SSC examination results.
This time too, despite trying to open an educational institution in several phases, it was not possible in the end. As a result, the teaching program has also been disrupted.
SSC and equivalent and HSC and equivalent examinations were to be held in the next two weeks after completing the short syllabus after the opening of the educational institution. After completing the short syllabus of 60 days for SSC and equivalent and 84 days for HSC and equivalent, it was decided to take two public examinations with a time of two weeks.
But due to the second wave of corona, it has now become uncertain. The government does not want to take the test until Corona comes under control. Although late, two public examinations will be taken this time.
Due to the second outbreak of epidemic corona in the country, it was not possible to take SSC and equivalent examinations in June and HSC and equivalent examinations in July-August. Corona has struck a new kind of delta in the country.
Although the government has decided, this time both the exams will be taken in three group-based elective subjects. And if it is not possible to take the test, the results will be prepared through assignment and subject mapping.
In this situation, on Thursday (August 12), the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni said that if the situation in Corona is favorable, SSC and HSC examinations will be held in mid-November and December respectively. The government has made all preparations for this.
HSC exam forms have already started filling up from today (Thursday). This activity will continue till August 15. Pay the fee for filling up the form till August 30.
Earlier, in a virtual press briefing on November 25 last year, the Minister of Education. Dipu Moni said that a short syllabus has been prepared which can be completed in three months for taking SSC and HSC examinations of 2021.
He said then, in the light of the short syllabus, we want the students to take classes for three months. Because of that, maybe SSC and HSC exams will be delayed for a month or two.
But due to the delta variant of the corona, it has not been possible to open an educational institution yet. According to the latest announcement of the government, all educational institutions will be closed till August 31.
